World Haiku Festival 2000 Photo Album

| Sagicho Aihara is a haijin of Matsuyama and is very close to Tohta Kaneko
at the Modern Haiku Association. A survivor of the atomic bomb at Hiroshima, Sagicho's
haiku on the subject and on the World War II are poignant and of exceptional quality.
It was his influence that convinced many of the participating Japanese poets to
make the special trip to England to participate in the WHF2000. |
