The WHChaibun
Workshop and "Double Haibun Contest" 2002
is being led by Bruce Ross, editor of Journey
to the Interior, American Versions of Haibun and co-editor of American
Haibun & Haiga. The opening remarks and ground rules were
posted on Friday, March 8th, 2002 on the WHChaibun list. Deadline for haibun
submission was March 15. The mailing list has provided "open
membership" for the duration of the workshop for public participation.

The
ground rules of the World Haiku Club Double Haibun Contest:
1.) No more than two haibun submissions, one in each category, nature and urban.
2.) No more than three sentences in each haibun.
3.) No more than one haiku in the nature haibun and no more than one haiku or
one senryu in the urban haibun.
4.) A title for each haibun.
5.) Name, city and country of residence, and email address on each
haibun.
6.) Submissions due by Friday, March 15th at

7.) Winners of the Double Haibun Kukai (1st, 2nd, 3rd places in each category)
announced on Friday, March 22nd.
Winners will be published in the
World Haiku Review.
