Nubes de otoño.
Sobre el camposanto acechan
sombras alargadas.
Autumn clouds.
The graveyard covered
with lengthened shadows.
 


Un día, en la ciudad,
la luna se perderá
por las cloacas.

One day, in the city,
the moon will get lost
down by the sewers.
 


Todo ha pasado:
cayó con la hoja seca
todo el otoño.

It all happened:
The whole autumn fell
with the dead leaf.
 

Primeras gotas.
El pez se difumina
en el estanque.
First raindrops:
in the old pond
the fish blurs.
 

para admirar
el rocío en la hierba
he de agacharme
to admire
the dew on the grass
I crouch down
 

por los sonidos
se conoce el otoño
por los olores
by the sounds
autumn is felt
by the smells
 

luna de plata
solos conversaremos
toda la noche
silver moon
we'll talk to each other
all night long
 

lluvia de otoño
¡desde el mar remontándose
hasta las nubes!
autumn rain
from the sea soaring
to the clouds!
