one ray of light...through treetops
......a spider web...turned to rainbows

Saw palmetto is a fan palm which grows prolifically in Florida. The  leaves are 2'-3' across and green or bluish green. Leaf clusters grow to 4'-6' high with a similar spread. It grows in a wide range of habitats:  seaside sand dunes, dry scrub, moist forests, pine flatwoods and wetlands, sometimes covering hundreds of acres. Its berries  are used in medical treatments for prostrate and bladder.
