more than she sees

Dittmer junkyard can't tell what I really need since the fence went up

skull envy this pre-man less evolved than the others

humpty dumpty accounting not all Bush's men can save wall street again

hell on earth in triple digits out west

weave by touch she can't see the rug she made

back steps to the post office a cat asleep on its tail

window shopping the street gets a new coat of rain

yard by the tracks a kite caught up in a clothesline

sun tea to rain tea a full jar

cane-back chair the same squareness in grandma's shoulders

arms stretched into wings my son keeps adding to the story

home run trot a train rumbles past the baseball field

sizing up the situation one sister lifts the other to reach the drinking fountain

tomatotroplis it's a dream I have when everything's ripe

mattress store a child trying out each one to find the bounciest

mouth turned down at the corners even when she's smiling

shotgun shack a chain moves without the porch swing

tin roof town two houses and a few chickens in the front yard

lilies on a grave no keeper but the sun and rain

blue highway marker 3 wal-mart bags tied around some peach tree branches

dot..to..dot..on..the..map..my..town..your..town..usa

the silver rings
