a sigh of relief

12x2 one-line haiku links
marlene mountain cindy tebo

mid-january a sigh of relief in the sound of it once a winter

scraping the ice the way the cold scrapes me

a total stranger at the film's beginning

pirate movie I steal a handful of popcorn

'snug as a bug in a rug' a spider unsnuggles itself across the carpet

wrapped like a mummy my son takes off into the wild, white yonder

back over the not-so-one-can-tell blacktop the plow

sort of a rut about one hoof wide

will the pregnant wife be found as a mother or as a statistic

so easy to arrange 'till death do us part'

'down in the dumps' a dumped body

asbestos removal 'no danger to the employees' who are not in the building

rampant speculation the money core of 'breaking news'

years of cuban sanctions those who starve without power

his mind made up finish daddy's war

a 'b' grade western little big man and his oily advisors

thoughts against the wrong-wing grain be mum or else

gull gray sky the power of cold mixed with politics

'dozers & a backhoe chew toward a site with a view

church of your donations expanding their parking lot

a bit of morning sun on the cactus which prefers not to bloom

remote a cc ess more ce dars than citi zens

a protest wall haiku with sharp edges in a rough court

a path y 'path of the least resistance'
