Leslie
Dahl, Alberta, CA - Art Haiku
| Comment by
Roderick Stewart: Great idea in the constructing of the image with this
particular haiku. The image extends the meaning of the haiku. Coloured subject
against an uncoloured background brings the alone-ness of the haiku to the fore
and gives great depth to the image. There are a few flaws in this image that
could be fixed to improved it: 1) too much compression--see the unrefined edges
of the text and kite. The article "Artefacts"
contains information about this flaw; 2) the too spatially predominant use of
mattes/borders. |
