Roderick Stewart: Beautiful photo, except maybe too harsh and narrow
the flash light on the baby. Nice extension of haiku by including the baby which
is — as if for the first time — experiencing the meaning of the haiku.
Fluid, handwritten typeface supports the sense of movement in the haiku where
all things are picked up and moved as one by the constant, endless movement of
the tide. The stepped placement of the lines of the haiku echo the incoming
lines of waves which gradually descend in their depth. Nice touch. |
