 SUMMER SOLSTICE.............

The
country road runs in front of a modest Baptist church. Our driveway snakes
through a small patch of hickory, oak, and new Georgia pine before intersecting
with that country road. Our mailbox is on the county's 5 foot easeway, a little
off the top of the driveway. After I return from work, I routinely trudge up
the driveway to check the mail.
