Benvenuti al WHCitalian, meraviglioso gruppo del
World Haiku Club.
Il termine meraviglioso è il migliore per
descrivere la vera caverna dei tesori dove voi state per entrare. L’Italiano è
una lingua che si adatta molto bene allo haiku. E’ una lingua piana, melodiosa e
ricca di sfumature. Ogni haiku scritto in Italiano ha una grande capacità
evocativa e suggestiva, è una sorta di formula magica che penetra nel cuore e fa
vibrare l’anima come la corda di un’arpa. L’Italia è figlia della cultura Greca
e Latina, patria dell’Umanesimo e del Rinascimento, culla di sommi artisti e
pensatori. Questa eredità ci rende sensibili all’arte in tutte le sue
espressioni e specialmente allo haiku , che ci è molto congeniale. San Francesco di Assisi (XII/XIII sec.) nel suo
Cantico, loda Dio per tutte le sue creature: sole, luna,
stelle, fiori, animali etc. Il Cantico è composto di brevi strofe,
simili agli haiku, e segna il passaggio dall Latino al primo Italiano arcaico.
Vi invito quindi, non solo a visitarci, ma a
unirvi al nostro gruppo per fare sì che la nostra caverna dei tesori diventi
sempre più ricca!

Welcome to WHCitalian, our wonderful group of the World Haiku Club.
The term, " wonderful" best
describes the true treasure cave, where you are about to enter. Italian is a
very suitable language for haiku. It is a melodious language, rich in nuances.
Each Italian haiku has great evocative power and tell-tale ability. It is a kind
of magic spell which penetrates the heart, making the soul vibrate as the string
of an harp. Italy
is fruit of Greek and Latin culture, land of Humanism and Renaissance, cradle of
great artists and thinkers.
This heritage make us sensitive to art in all its
expressions and especially to haiku which is very congenial to us.
St
Francis of Assisi (XII/ XIII century) praised God for all his creatures: sun,
moon, stars, flowers, animals etc. in his poem called: The Canticle of
Creatures. This poem is made of short strophes, like haiku, and it marks the
passage from Latin to archaic Italian.

Abbiamo provato a descrivere una città, a
raccontare una storia, a rievocare un personaggio. Il risultato è stato molto
interessante. Lo haiku è un miracolo di sintesi poetica e si presta a scolpire
l'attimo. Le due catene che presentiamo —il viaggio
e petali rossi -
sono un esempio di creatività collettiva, una sinfonia fatta di pianissimo.
We have tried to describe a
city, tale a story, describe a personage. The result has been very interesting.
The haiku is a wonder of poetic synthesis and it is very fit for engraving the
instant. The two chains — the journey and
red petals - are an example of
collective creativity, a symphony made from pianissimo.
