In his
wallet
the picture of me
forty years ago
I wear a bikini
I don't remember
twilight
on my patio—
the morning glories closing
in tight colored buds
moonflowers slowly unfold
in lush round and white circles
winter mountain drive
through the thick fog the bare trees
flash by on both sides—
as do our dark thoughts this day
after Mother's funeral
