WHCSPANISH HAIKU, RELATED POETRY and ESSAY SUBMISSIONS
1. WHO CAN SUBMIT: Submissions are open world-wide to readers of the World Haiku
Review online.
2. There is no limitation on number of poetry submissions at this time.
3. ACCEPTED GENRES: We are primarily interested in haiku (single, sequences and
series are also accepted); Japanese poetic genres such as tanka, renga, renku,
haibun and senryu are accepted; Poetry derived from Japanese and Asian genres
are acceptable: haiku or tanka analogue, new linked forms, rengay, etc. (Please
contact Editor about submitting haiga / art combined with haiku or other genres
as submissions.)
4. Separate each group of poetry by genre, preceded by the title of the genre
(Example: HAIKU, TANKA, RENGAY, etc).
5. ESSAYS, ARTICLES and NEWS: Poets may submit 1 new, original Spanish-language
essay on topics of interest to poets of haiku and related poetry per author, per
issue. For essay
submissions, include your brief biography, footnotes, and an introduction to
yourself and your work as related to poetry. There is not a limit on essay
length at this time. Articles and news of interest to Spanish-language poets of
haiku and related poetry may also be submitted. Single space main body of
manuscript texts except where other formatting is necessary. Send in separate

6. All works Spanish language must be accompanied by good English translation,
which will be used for selection purposes.
7. Single-space poems unless special formatting is required.
8. Include your full name (with nom de plume, if applicable); Surname in capital
letters (EX: John BUNYON; Sara Elizabeth JAMES; SUZUKI Tatsuo, Susumu TAKIGUCHI;
Include your state or province, and country of residence (if more than one,
please include all);
Include your e-mail address.
9. Please use HTML formatted e-mail (not "Plain Text" or MS Word format). Please
type your text, poems and manuscripts directly onto the body of the e-mail;
do
not copy and paste your text into the e-mail from a word-processing document.
10. Send submissions in the main body of the e-mail, not as an attached file.
(Exception: .jpg/.jpeg images for use in essays or haiga may be sent as
attachments).

ENSAYOS: Carlos Fleitas
PAUTAS:
1. QUIENES PUEDEN PRESENTAR SUS OBRAS: Las presentaciones están abiertas
mundialmente a todos los lectores de World Haiku Review en línea.
2. No hay limitaciones en cuanto al numero de poemas a ser presentados al
momento.
3. GENEROS ACEPTADOS: Estamos primordialmente interesados en el haiku
(individual, secuencias y series tambien son aceptadas); géneros poéticos
Japoneses como tanka, renga, haibun y senryu son también aceptados, poesia
derivada de géneros Japoneses y Asiáticos son aceptables: análogos de haiku y
tanka, nuevas formas ligadas, rengay, etc
4. Separad cada grupo de poesía por genero, precedido por el título del mismo (Ejemplo:
HAIKU, TANKA, RENGAY,etc).
5. ENSAYOS, ARTICULOS Y NOTICIAS: Los poetas pueden presentar 1 nuevo y original
ensayo en Español sobre temas de interés para poetas de haiku y poesía
relacionada. Para la presentación de los mismos, se debe incluir una breve
biografía, notas al pie de página, y una introducción sobre uno mismo y su obra
relacionada con poesía. No hay límite en cuanto a la longitud del ensayo al
momento. Artículos y noticias de interés para los poetas de haiku nativo
parlantes de Español y poesía relacionada pueden tambien ser presentados. Se
requerirá un solo espacio en el texto manuscrito excepto cuando otro formato se
haga necesario. Enviar por separado mediante email.
6. Todas las obras en idioma Español deberán ser acompañadas por buenas
traducciones al Ingles, que serán utilizadas para propósitos de selección.
7. Los poemas deberán tener un solo espacio entre versos salvo que un formato
especial sea necesario.
8. Incluya su nombre (y nom de plum, si es del caso); Sobrenombre en mayúsculas
(Ejemplo John BUNYON, Sara Elizabeth JAMES, SUZUKI Tatsuo, Susumu TAKIGUCHI;
Includya su e-mail
9. Favor de utilizar formato HTML en los emails (no "Texto llano" o Formato MS
Word)
10. Envíe las presentaciones en el cuerpo principal del e-mail, y no como un
attachment
11. En el Asunto del Email con las presentaciones de obras para WHCSPANISH
